I soo love being on leave (although its only for a week)!! Holiday is the best of all time! hee heee!! More free spare time, more creating LOs, more usage of supplies, another reason to load new ones! :p
However, I feel like there's not enough time for scrapping. Now its already Thursday. I felt like time past by so quick.... and I will get back to work by next week! ack!!

Sharing some layouts herewith. Oh soo love the feeling when mojo is (almost) cooperating with you. :)

Just Buzzin In!

Just droppin by.
I will be very busy this weekend since there will be a family wedding event going on tomorrow (and had to miss the cropping classes with the Shabby Chic's DT!! Soo wanted to join Lia's class actually!) Now I just got back from my in-laws and my body is really aching. In two weeks time, I'll be having my real break! Yeahh!! *grin*
I just found out from Ali through Creatively Yours blog that the newly DT and GDT 2009 were all "famous" people now. Didn't get it at first. Then, I found out why. LOL! Good one!

Here's a clear picture...

Couldn't believe my name is actually being posted on ScrapScene!! wahahaha!!

Thanks Ali for enlightened us and Congrats to Noella too for her newest toot! She's one creative lady indeed! More sketches inspiration can be found here.

Ed's Sketches Got Stamps? sketch challenge for November is almost over. But you still got time till tomorrow if youre a fast scrapper. But not to worry, December sketch is coming in your way very soon :)
Here's my sneak peek layout
Aside from this, I have lots of outstanding projects for the swap thingy happening at Brunei Scrappers Forum, Scrappin Kids Forum and Groovie Scraps Cafe Forum.
Moreover, our bank's CSR club will be organising a charity garage sale sometime next week and we were asked to participate. So my friends and I were intending to make and sell some handmade items especially cards and of course non-scrapbook items such as unused clothings, electrical appliances etc etc at cheaper prices!! Will keep posting more infos once the event is confirmed. Some proceeds of sale will be donated to the charity centre.
Gotta go finished up some deadlines! Take care ♥

Not too shabby..

**EDITED**

I feel a little bit better now after seeing the doctor this morning. However I am still on medication... Sincere thanks to my friends for the well wishes *hugs*

I forgot to share my altered bottle designed for Artz de Scrap October Challenge which I have done two days ago. Originally it was a yogurt drink Bliss plastic bottle. I wanted to create something different like Mr Pumpkin Head or something hallooweeny (muahahah! Yeah we don't celebrate halloween here) but had to think twice. heh. So I kinda did it in the usual way. Using Distress Crackle Paint (antique linen), I brushed off the upper part and let it dry naturally. I just loo♥oovee the effects these crackle paints do!

Wrapped up the middle and lower part with a pink net, a flower chipboard, a string of pearls, a ribbon, a black lace and a mesh wire. Put a vintage image and a pink heart shaped chipboard. Attached an "inspire" sticker to finish the whole process. Voila!

As notified earlier, I resubmitted a layout to Rough Draft Sketches (Sketch #3). Here's to share:

Thanks for peeking...

Oh I just remembered Sasha tagged me a couple of days ago. Before that, I have been always inspired by her work. She has quite impressive resume and is also designing for several brands and some reknown scrapbooking and sketches sites. Go on check out her awesome blog!

Now here's the tagging rule which I cant recall if I ever done this before but perhaps I can do this again :)

(The rules….link your tagger and list these rules on your blog. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.)

1. I may seemed like the innocent quiet type of girl but I have quite a bad temper! I get annoyed easily and burst myself out! But not too worry, that only happens when I am under stress and having the never-ending headaches!

2. I do spring cleaning in our bedroom thrice a year. Yeah just 3 times a year and don't get me started on how often I do the laundry! I do ironing most of the time but not laundry although I prefer doing the laundry rather than ironing! Weird, I know.

3. DH and I haven't gone to the movies for the past years. We have made plans to go and watch at least one movie this month but in the end we changed our mind. Well there aren't any good movies worth my money lately (totally my personal opinion!) but my friends and I already made plans few months back to go and see Madagascar 2. Lets hope we make it this time. Hehs.

4. Although I got broke (especially when it comes to buying SB stuffs!) but there's always a way for me to make some extra dosh...ThankGod! I don't know if its just me, but my friends and I felt when we spent over than the budget for SB shopping, "Oh.. it's okay". But when it comes to buying to our needs like clothings and handbags, we had to think twice whether its worth to spend on something like this and that. *LOL*

5. I am a big fan of horror and scary movies. Then I found out my girl is also keen of watching horrors too! OH Gosh...... She's only two and she already watch these disgusting flicks! Look who's talking... Should I get help?

6. I used to hate anything coffee taste before the birth of my girl. But eversince she was born, I am hooked on to this caffeine beverages until now. I prefer Mocha over Latte though. But for morning breaks, I drink Nescafe (3in1).

7. I am now thinking that I don't really know how to answer this tagging questions as I can't really think on what I should write and state my factual habits. :p

There goes my so-called seven list. Don't know who to tag but feel free to post this in your own blog.

Rushin off to bed now cos i'll be reporting back at work tomorrow! Ciao

SK Marathon Layout - Challenge 5

I am feeling unwell at the moment which probably due to sleepless nights. Left early at work and had a nap for a while... Somehow, I managed to finish a layout for the next SK Marathon challenge just now although i had this heavy headache and slight fever... :(

Clue #5 was hosted by DT Issa with a little hint of Mr Mojo has returned (aahhh good for her!). She asked to make a 12x12 masculine page and to put a few flourishes, but still to maintain that masculine feel.

~* we are just chillin' out in grandma's garden *~

Supplies used: Fancy Pants, ScribbleScrabble, Ranger Stickels (Icicle & Silver), Buttons, Ribbon, Rusty Pickle Swirl, Alcohol Inks, Distress Crackle Paints, mesh wire, American Crafts Letter Stickers, Making Memories Tiny Alphas and Hambly Prints Kraft Sticker.

Thank u for droppin by.

SK Marathon Layout ~ Challenge 4

Again, made it to the next round aka Scrappin Kids Marathon Challenge no.4 with the others! I have never been this energetic on creating, designing, thinking, photographing..... within 24 hours, since last Saturday! *hehe*

Anyhoos, the fourth clue was hopping from DT Issa to RD Liza Yet. The challenge this time is to create a Layout with 5 different types OR colours of scrapbook mediums. First let me list out what the mediums I have used in my page:

5 types of Ranger Stickels (Turquoise, Xmas Red, Lime Green, Lavender & Silver), 3 types of DewDrop Brilliance Pigment Inks (Coffee Bean, Galaxy Gold & Pearlscent Orchid), 1 type of Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber (Snow Cap), 2 types of Making Memories Acrylic Liquid (Strawberry Cream & Daiquiri), Ranger Inkssentials Glossy Accents, 1 type of Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint (Antique Linen), Opaque Pen Inkssentials (White), and finally, American Crafts Memory Maker Dual Tip Pen (Black).

So here's my entry:

~* Don't They Looked Oh So Cute.. *~

Dabbing the Pigment Inks (Gold & Orchid) hence that squared effects on top of the tape wire that sticks mesh wire which can also be seen in the page.

Applying those Ranger Stickles where appropriate and lil bit of stamping.

The Mediums Used.

Who cares I used the same picture of my kids over & over! Because they looked soooo good in this shot! Honestly, it is so rare seeing the girl hugging the boy, but exclusively for this shot, they looked soo natural and such a sport!

Appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks for lookin!

Layout for SK Marathon ~ 3rd Challenge

Yes I made to the 3rd round of Scrappin Kids Marathon challenge!

Although I was a few hours behind checking out the clue at 9AM (*hehe* blame it on the work overload!), got home at 6pm, then preparing dinner for the family, and putting my DD to bed, and finally began my scrapping at 10PM... *phew* what a day ya? teehee...

For 3rd clue, the challenge was hosted by Cookie. She challenged us to create a 12 x 12 LO using pattern papers no more than 4 x 4 inches in size!! it can be smaller than 4x4 but definitely not bigger than that!

I just finished creating on this challenge and I feel like this is the first time that I created such a COLOURFUL layout! *haha*. Indeed, it was nice to see all those small pieces of scrap papers I have kept for months, being utilised for something like this! Credit to Cookie for her brilliant idea!

Here's to share my interpretation of playing with little pieces of patterned papers:

~* Color Me Happy *~

Journaling:
Dear Hubby,
Tell me again that black
isn't the only color in the world...
I have never been this happy
ever since I have found millions of colors
inside you my love!!
Thank you for sharing them with me..
xoxo, your wife

a closer look on the surface.

For the heart look, I used a heart shape template which I drew earlier on another 12x12 cardstock. Then I attached the template on my actual cardstock and began patching those scraps PPs (sorry, I can't remember all those PPs manufacturer brands as it was already in pieces). When I have done patching all those PPs, I brushed off some glitter glue on the surface to keep them even. Then I attached all the other elements and did a little touch ups, ensuring that every pieces of PP weren't bigger than a 4x4 size.

Sincerely hope I can pass. now im off to bed.

Thanks for lookin!

Layout for SK ~ 2nd Challenge

For this round, I am feeling less inspired! Gaaahhhh!! Anyway, I managed to complete the simple look of my LO. The 2nd Challenge for SK Marathon final clue can be found here.

Ka Jasmin needs the scrappers to come up with the MOST CREATIVE PHOTO MATTING EVER in our scrapbook layout. We are not to use the usual cardstock matting. But nevertheless the use of cardstock is allowed but must be used in the MOST CREATIVE WAY.

So here's my outcome layout:

~* My Blossom Girl *~

A closer look on the matted photos.

First I glued a bluish crepe paper on the PP. Cut off the excessive crepe papers. Painted on its surface with Tea Dye Distress Crackle Paint. After it dries and cracked, painted over it with MM Strawberry & Cream Acrylic Paint followed by dabbing some Adirondack Pearl Acrylic Paint around the crepe paper. Later on I attached a flexible craft wire (Sorry, I still don't know the real term for it) on the painted surface. Glued a paper doyle which I have sprayed some Red Velvet Glimmer Mist, on top of the craft wire. Finally I glued the photos on top of my so-called "photo matting" and brushed off some Strawberry & Cream paint around the photos to create a frame.

Hope it can pass. sigh.

Can't wait for the 3rd Clue tomorrow!!

Thanks for lookin!

Sharing Some Layouts {SK & RDS}

**Edited**

{SK}

As I have mentioned in here earlier, all the SK marathon participants have found the first challenge clue in one of the SK DT ;D

~* Happy Wear *~

Journaling:
"The smile makes sense when
everytime you wear this

pink dress with net frock
we knew its your favourite dress...

and its mama's favourite dress too
cos you looked sooo happy in it."

I wasn't able to go out and develop a picture of my favourite outfit as it was raining heavily all day and my printer ran out of color inks! *blah* As such, I had to use an image of DD in her fav dress (you know which dress...*hehehe*) Yes, that pink smocking dress that she really loves (and mama too!!) :)

AND

{RDS}
Gorgeous Credits to Rough Draft Sketches (Sketch #3 by Zoe) for the above page. Will create a fresh page for RDS very soon.

Then I also created a layout based on RDS Sketch #2.

(image is upside down)

~* Whoo luvs you? *~

Notice the red glimmer mists on the paper? Sprayed on the surface with Red Velvet and a lil bit of Tiger Lily. Masked it with a couple of paper doyles. I also painted the white cardstock scalloped frame some crackle paints in green. It was fun fun doing this. hehs.

And oh not to forget this previous page for SK "Celebrate" October Challenge.
I chose challenge #13 - Splashy August.

~* Aqua Love *~

Hope my pages are pass! *yikes*

Thanks for lookin!

{Create} some Pink

**EDITED**

DH is back.... wheee! Yeah it was only a two days trip and yet DD kept asking for him.. I guess she's not used to have a night sleep without her dad around (and Ed, I don't know how you did it but I truly respect your courage and spirit for being the amazing mother and loyal wife! *HuGs*)

Anyway, while DH was away, I made myself busy with some scrappy projects. This LO is for Groovie {Create} October Challenge entitled Go PINK. This is in support of Breast Cancer Awareness which falls in October. So for this challenge, it must include anything PINK on the LO.

~* precious *~

Scrapping Inspirations Doodlings

I was moved to create for a doodling layout in this blog. Never done this before, especially when almost 80% of your page are nothing but doodling!

As my drawing supplies are limited (and as much as I want to own that Zig Chalk marker set hehe), instead I used a black wood lead colored pencils on most of my LO. The colored pencils are ideal for drawings too. I even dipped the colored pencils in water and so it created that wet kind of look.

First I drew the tree, its branches and the leaves (free hand drawings). Then I used a chipboard swirl (FancyPants) as a template to create that swirly frame with a lead pencil. Makes my life easier heheh! Then I sprayed some glimmer mists on the page to add little colors as a background effect. Let it dry for several minutes (dries faster if you have a heat gun!). After it dries, I colored around the swirly frames with green lime, dipped it in liquid (h2o) as I colored along it. Applied stickles and the letter stickers.

and voila!
its not that perfect, but i'm glad i did this.

Supplies: Cardstock, Colored Pencils (blackwood lead), little amount of water, swirly chipboard (frame template), Tattered Angels Glimmer mists, Glitter Stickles, American Crafts Letter stickers and Pink Paislee Letter Stickers.

Thanks for lookin!

However I had to stop at 2nd page as i was having some relatives over. And so here I am back to square one.... So sad to see all the stack of PPs, stickers, chipboards, and such waiting for me to play with. And now a new stocks coming in.....huhu. Im lost for words. :P

Transformed a Prima tin into a mini gift like this (see picture). My best friend was having a birthday sometime last month so I wanted to create something memorable for her. Lying next to it was a blank CD which I altered it into an accompanying "birthday card". It was just a simple gift. Glad to know she likes it.... ;)

Now I gotta get ready hit the shower! I am Working today...ugh

Happy Birthday to my lovely wonderful beautiful mother today!
