Hello!!

Oh yes thanks babe for reminding me that I'm back to the real world! hehehe!!

Still haven't recovered from shopaholic fever at 1Borneo thus less creative juices flowing for the time being... Unless I'm off to splurge some dosh at my LSS especially here! Got few stuffs in reserved basket which she, she and I have done feasting our eyes on the new arrivals few weeks back! So I think I better take advantage of my "fever" before it heals...haha :p

Nonetheless I sincerely appreciate the thoughts and efforts made then. I bet its killing you inside to keep this away from me???! Hehe! Picture this (and can be seen here too). I was really really puzzled by the birthday singing and the cake (YUMMYY CAKE BTW!!!) was actually for me whilst I was having my sweet moment doing some browsing in the inks box! Haha!! Talk about a shopaholic?? Will on to that later. :p

I also finally met Dazzle, Yati, Renee and Sherlene in person. They all were very nice and friendly too. :) And also Nadia ! Yayyss! Akhirnya dia tidak takut sama aku~~ hehehe!! Shes soo cutee, soo adorable, soo pretty in her curly hair! Thankgod I didnt gigit her though. heee

Got few pretty surprises too! Got a couple of custom made explosion boxes (perfect for mini albums!) from Your Sweetness Her Majesty, Poinz! *hugs*


They're soo conveniently pretty Woman! Thank you again! :)

Another surprise was from this sweet girl. In fact she surprised everyone of us. hehe!

Renoa created a mini card for all of us and this is a card for me!! Yayss!! :) Thanks babe! It was a sweet card and lovely notes inside too!

Here is also a LO made from the crop date. We only managed to do one LO though. But this is not just "my" LO, we swapped with others and incorporated the challenge called out by our none other than the talented her.

Every person has their own style. I love the look of this LO as it is especially the cluster of blue flowers tied with a ribbon. And you will not believe this was done by first-timer scrapbooker?? It may looked simple and easy, but I bet it took a lot of effort to even twist and swirled the ribbon.

All in all, I had so very much FUN hanging out with the awesome regular croppers! Thank yous. We should do this again...but I guess not too soon. More expected surprises are coming in and it will be a very busy time for some of us. ;)

He will be missed...

I was intended to blog last night but around 8-ish, DH received a call from mother informing that his uncle was poorly ill and was being treated at the isolation ward, RIPAS Hospital. So we rushed over and everybody was there..... I can sensed the gloomy atmosphere. When we saw the poor man sleeping, lying weakly on the bed with oxygen mask on and all the lifeline equipments, we knew we all should braced ourselves for the worst...

And exactly around 12PM today, DH received a phone call and were told the uncle past away.
Innalillah....

Al-Fatihah.

May the soul rest in peace.

Family keeps me alive..

Went to my sister's place today in K.B. Intended to celebrate my nephew's belated birthday (falls on 25th Sept.) after the Iftaar. Finally, I get to see them babies!!! Its been a week I didn't see them and that feels like a thousand years?? hehe.. As Hari Raya is just around the corner, and my sister wont be around on raya as she will be working on shifts (shucks!), I will see them babies even less now...*sigh* Looks like we have to travel one hour plus to see them instead.

Oh, also my sister requested to take a family photoshoot around their crib as well. Now this part, I must applaud to all photogs that works really well with the kids. Yes, Its really hard to keep the kids stay still, especially for a family portait.. LOL!

Family ties.

Another lazy Monday morning. Stayed up late last night editing and compiling images of my uncle’s house renovation works taken earlier during the day. While doing that, I also sent along a scrapbook of his kids in their themed face painting taken during last Easter in Brunei Hall. They’ve grown up so fast after almost 8 months they’ve left Brunei!

Here's my precious baby having a good time at Muara Beach this morning.

We had so much fun having the family picnic with my sister's groupie! It was unfortunate that both our parents weren't joining us. Despite the very hot and sunny weather, the kids didnt seem to mind that. We also had our own so-called beach volleyball game with this really light plastic ball that only costs $2.00! LOL! Imagine the windy day and with such ball... hehe




My little nephew was a really happy boy today and gave me this
endearing wide smile! If you look closely, its hard to see his white pearls. Thats because he hasnt any! hehe... and he is almost two this year.
Not to worry baby, the pearls will emerge sooner or later..... :P

BUT isnt he adorable??

I managed to finish a 12x12 layout of my precious just now. Something funny happened. I didn't do any sketch for my layout then. Well its more like never! hehe! So i decided to test my new paint i bought at SC some time ago. I actually didnt plan to use the paint but somehow husband practically commenting on my LO about being too plain. He rarely make any comments about my scrapwork though (besides my scrapping area! LOL!). So I thought why not i just paint on the "Plain" area. Really unfortunate that I really SUCK at paintings! HAHAHA LOL!!

The moral of my blog today is, never do any a paint job without the direction of an expert! LOL!!

Nevertheless, here's to share :)

it has been a loooong day. managed to finish a friend's wedding gift consisting of an altered box and a 12x12 layout for the bride and groom. im not sure if i can post them now but perhaps tomorrow. sincerely hope they like 'em both!

oh i also received a very unexpected email today and you bet it sure made my day!! *wink wink* and you made me sooooo nervous. yikes. come to think of it, i dont think im prepared for all this. hahahaha bwoohh!

and oh, , ive submitted an LO for SiC just for the fun of it! i guess my creative juice was overflowing then! LOL! just kiddin!

A year old precious.

What happen when you dropped by at ShabbyChic’s and bought so much that you had to charge it to your Mastercard?

Addiction is all I can say............... *gasp*

A second layout (LO) I have done during my trial phase. Theme is also birthday, a 1st year old birthday bash for my baby daughter’s, last year in 2006. I am keeping it simplicity.

I ran out of ideas what to put on top of the 12×12 pink Cardstock, so I kinda stick some alphabet stickers and sow the “L” made out of ribbon and used a chipboard button and sow another green thread to make it an “a”. But then it looked funny! *heh*

I wonder if there are 10 more scrapbooking shops in Brunei….?

Birthday gift for her.

This is purely my first ever project LO! And it kind of satisfied me.

Made with a 12×12 lilac Cardstock with Sassfras Lass *spelling* patterned papers. Put on some birthday embellishments bought from here.

The rest are “antam-antam” as I am running out of ideas. I am not a creative type of person like what my friends allegedly claimed.

A birthday present for my dear cousin, Ami and was supposed to pass to her (nicely put in a 12×12 frame and wrapped it in a box) on 30th November but up till date, i have not accomplished it. Bad cousin. *heh*

Updates: I just heard “somebody” is interested into scrapping!! Yay! I have another partner in scrappers!
