Rough Draft Sketch #1

**EDITED**

Forgot to post this. A page for Rough Draft Sketches based on a sketch no. 1 by their wonderful DT, Jemma.

I used the PP from Webster's Pages. Its been some time already in my paper stacks and felt guilty seeing this wonderful PP by Terri Conrad just lying around...

~* playing princess *~

DD loves this smocking dress so much. It makes her felt so much like a princess.
She called this dress a fairy dress.

Heh, kids!

Oh forgot to mention that my page on the pink corrugated cardboard is based on Ed's Sketch Got Stamps? October sketch. The challenge is still on til month end and we will be happy if you are joining us too!!

Why wait? Start scrapping now! teeheeeee :)

TFL! ♥

Family ties.

Another lazy Monday morning. Stayed up late last night editing and compiling images of my uncle’s house renovation works taken earlier during the day. While doing that, I also sent along a scrapbook of his kids in their themed face painting taken during last Easter in Brunei Hall. They’ve grown up so fast after almost 8 months they’ve left Brunei!

Busy weekend

.....since its National Scrapbooking Day!

Okay this gonna be a loooong post.

I've already been keeping myself busy since early this week with the cool happenings at Scrappin Kids Forum especially the National Scrapbooking Day Frenzzy!!! A lot of frenziess goin on til 4th May 2008 which is tomorrow. I have participated in two challenges only. Just sooo didnt dare to join the SK Ultimate Challenge Scrapper! hehee

One:
I woke up early this morning only to finish packing the goody bags swap for the kids of my new scrapbook friends in SK forum. This would be my first time having this kind of moment; worrying, panicking and completing the works!! hehehe!! although felt a little bit tired but i hope the 7 lovely recipient kids gonna like them ;) I sincerely HOPE so.

Here's to share a peek look of the blue elephants making their way to the respective wonderful kids.

Two:
Color challenge. Only to use B&W or Sephia photos. No color except for the layouts. It was sure a twisted challenge there. I managed to finish a LO earlier this week having the same rules, about my close friend's family having a vacation somewhere in Malaysia :)

Here's my take:

Well, i think thats it for the SK happenings. Do pops in the SK forum peeps, in case you havent! :)

********************************

My sister requested for her plain mini briefcase to be revamped with my overloaded SB stash! haha!! great one sis! :P She asked just for a simple one urgently and not to overdo the professional look of her briefcase which she gonna put all the immigration post control stamps! haha! how cute..

yeah, its THAT simple alright! :D

On a productive post, this afternoon, three of us held our own crop session at my crib. Alin the BigSis was trying to finish her SK forum color challenge while Mac was doing her family thang! We had fun and happy they enjoyed themselves.

here with the busy bees.
if you may notice, i meant the two little kids over the corner. *haha*

here's their decent happy look.

here's the cheeky look!
oh no...hope shes not doing this random thing in her teenage! LOL!
And look at Afiq's look! how handsome! hehehe

Alright thats all folks!
Im off to the next challenge which still need extra mojos to do that! heh

SnC April Challenge

Oh wow! I am sure addicted. Only one day after my flu recovery, i am back on track! LOL!

After completing the Unik LO challenge, I made another one for Scrap-n-Crop April Challenge. I seriously dont know where I got all the energy but it sure super duper fun finishing 'em! Yes my scrap table area is in a mess right now.. couldnt find the energy to clean it up *chuckles*

Oh for SnC's challenge, this is my first time submitting over my LO. I am freaking nervous cos all the members there are super seasoned and fantastic scrappers! The challenge this time is really twisting but "yummmeh" hehe. Check it here.

And here is my order:

Main Dish = Nasi Lemak = Use chipboard
Side Dish = Fried Kailan = Journal on paper strips
Dessert = New York Cheesecake = Use rub-ons
Drinks = Coke = Your choice of papers

And here is my layout:

Simply hope it passed the food ordering procedure...hehehe

Unik at Scrappin Kids

edited:

Scrappin Kids is having that FUN challenge again. The main subject is of course about our kids. This month of April, the theme is "UNiK". Check it out here for more info.

Nonetheless, I have just finish mine. Here's my take:-

My 'Alya has this sweet smile that even when
you have those gloomy days or
stressful moments, she would give you
this smile that always moves you. She would
give you a hug with her tiny arms and
said "sayang mama... (love you mama)".

So fellow scrappers, this challenge is quite easy. Come come join the fun!! :D

Didnt you have enough?

........Nooo!! LOL! This should be my 2nd post for today. I just love the holidays despite tend to eat a lot in between times! huhu

This morning, made an online purchase from shabbyprincess for a few of their digital kits. Bought something nice and vibrant in colors. I was hooked onto the laptop almost the whole afternoon. earlier was working on a surprise LO for him, after much hinting and coughing deliberately made on my cbox! LOL!! :p Still working on it though...... relax arrr..!

Further Ive finished a digital scrap using some of the newly purchase shabbyprincess kits. It took a very long time to download all of 'em despite i only bought like 2 mega kits and 4 add-ons embellishment. nevertheless, i used up some of the digi freebies in my file collections and voila!

rock on with Orange baby!!

Wanted to watch the korean my girl dvd today and dropped by at my in-laws, but since it was raining outside since afternoon and totally hooked on to scrapping, i declined the dvd session. Hubby was busy with his forex trading dummies book whilst little 'Alya is doing random things of her own. No functions to attend to today.

Its raining heavily again outside. I gotta get ready for dinner.

Cheers !

Creative Monday

*edited

-= ideas week =-

I dont know about you guys but I found little bits of creativity on Mondays! Today I was asked to buy a birthday card for a friend. Went to HH YYSHB but found nothing good and nice. Further was a bit expensive. We then found this hand made card made in China. Nonetheless some were also a bit creative and so so nice to see. While checking out, I was then asked by AB to make the card with my scrapping stash! heheh duuhhh~~

AB: "behapa tah kan dibali mun inda dipakai...keluarkan tya bakat atu.." (better use up all your stash)

Me: "Apanyaaaaa..." (heeeeee)

So I made this card. Its just a plain simple card. Materials used were a pink card stock, Chatterbox PP, Basic Grey Perhaps PP, some flowery, buttons embellishments, K&Co Words To Go, AC thickers foam, Simply Stated MM rub ons and heidi grace rub ons.

front & inside view

Purposely left the inside part blank as requested for the friend's greetings. Wanted to use my new stamps but left with paused. LOL! Practically I still unsure how to use stamps. Sad huh?

I got these card making ideas from here. She made pretty cards with her various stamps. Cool! Just hope I wont be a stamping addict. heheh

Okay I cant help to post another picture of Afan my nephew in heels! LOL!! He is just so cute! I guess he just filled the spare time while waiting his dad back from UK. Poor boy he misses his dad so much, so does his mommy. tsk..

too sexy for my giraffe T shirt!

Oh, playing around with the D40X and took a shot of 'Alya with her new fringe! Done by her personal hairstylist none other than her mom! huhu.. :P

"emm...apa yahh.." now her favorite words - too much SCTV Indon! LOL!

Signing off and gd nite!

You're my sunshines

I did this simple digiscrap 4 hours ago. Kits are from Shabby Princess. They're so kind! :)

I think I should start from digital scrapping before I started doing on the real ones as to avoid the wastage of papers and embellishments...

This is very very simple and I managed to finish this within 15 minutes. If its not because of my old mousie, I would do it less than 10 minutes though *LOL*

Pyjamas Party.

*Phew*

I didn’t think I’ve done one scrapping in a night. Well, it was just a simple one anyway.

Used a 12×12 orange metallic cardstock but cut it into half. A used purple cardstock which I bought earlier from Scrapbookdelights. And put on triplets chipboard buttons (i sooo lourve this buttons!!). The colourful stripes papers are from “making memories (MM)” kit pack. Drew an ornaments with an acid & lignin free MM’s two tips black pen. The wordings, I printed it out. Just can’t afford a proper scrapping tools at the moment *hehe*.

Models are from Anne Geddes. *lol*

Useful tip
: never ever throw away your used scrapworks. You might wanna use them in future ;)
